Meet Molly

Get to know me

I’m Molly and photography is my livelihood! I have no doubt that this is what I was born to do. Nothing thrills me more than seeing my clients’ faces light up with pure joy and preserving that second in time for all of eternity. And I just love to capture weddings! What an honor it is to be such in integral part of my couples’ BEST day of their lives! With all of my weddings I shoot, I ask myself, “if this was my special day, what would I want photographed?” The answer each time is, every single second of it! I never stop moving (I’ll often get stares as I lay on the ground or jump on my stepladder – whatever it takes to get that money shot for you!) and truly treat each wedding as if it were my own.

I grew up in Green Bay, so you could say I’m a Packer fan, though most people who live there wouldn’t dare say otherwise. I am the middle child of two sisters. Growing up, I thought I had it so rough being a middle child but the older I became, the more I realized how lucky I was to have such an amazing family!

To create beautiful art out of nothing is truly an incredible thing! In high school, I couldn’t get enough of the art classes they offered. Unfortunately, they didn’t have photography options until after I was in college. During my undergrad, I signed up for my first photography course and from that day forward, I was hooked! College was my space and place that I was able to further shape and develop my artistic abilities; it’s where I landed an internship at a local wedding studio then after that I knew that I was going to be one of the lucky ones that could say, I do what I love for a living!

What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?
Australia – I studied abroad there for four months during college and the experience changed me!

What’s the best way to start the day?
A good cup of coffee.

What fictional place would you most like to go?
Hogwarts! I think magic would be the best skill to acquire.

What’s your dream job?
I’m living it!

What is a dream you have that you’ve yet to achieve?
A studio space with all types of art material so I can spend my days creating – from painting to pottery to bookmaking, having my happy place to get lost in each day would be wonderful.

What are you addicted to?
Cinnamon gummy bears… too good!

If you knew you’d die tomorrow, how would you spend today?
I don’t care how I spend it as long as I’m with those that I love!

What have you created that you are most proud of?
In college, I won Honorable Mention for my piece in the student art show, this confidence booster helped me to realize that I really did have the talents to turn a hobby into a career!

My favorite weddings

Why did you decide to do the work you are doing now?
Because there is no better feeling than a bride crying happy tears when you show her a photo and she can see how beautiful she truly is or when you’ve captured a moment that they can otherwise never get back but is everything to them.

What is something surprising that people don’t know about you?
I am left handed but I play all sports with my right hand.

Where do you most hope to visit?
There are so many places I must see before I die, but the ones on top of my bucket list would have to be Greece and Italy… both boast such beauty and amazing culture!

What is one of your favorite smells?
My grandma’s spice rack.  When my sisters and I were little, our grandma would let us smell each spice. The last one was usually cinnamon and then after she would sprinkle a little in our hands for us. 🙂

What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
Bookmaking.

My favorite blogged couple

Ali and Ian

Ali & Ian This sweet duo watched the sunrise at Port Washington Beach and Ian, seizing the beauty of the moment, got down on his knee and asked Ali if she would be his future bride. They tied the knot at the rustic, elegant Pioneer Creek Farm, surrounded by friends and family, oh and did…

Kind words

“These are amazing. I smiled the whole time I looked through them!! Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly. I absolutely love all the candids, they are by far my favorites – I’ve never liked my “staged” smile but all these candids show us really smiling and having a great time! I will definitely recommend you guys to other brides in the future! We’ll be in touch for picking out our canvas – just needed to say thank you right away!! Thank you so much!”

“Erin & Molly from S&B Photography did an OUTSTANDING job taking our photos for our wedding day. Highly recommend! They fit in all the shots we wanted, worked well with family and guests, and were very accommodating. The photos turned out AMAZING. Hiring S&B Photography was some of the best money well spent on the wedding, definitely gave us high quality value photos. Lots of our guests commented on how great the photos turned out. What really made a huge difference is that S&B Photography were willing to take pictures of other people during our big day, so everyone walked away with great memories. Would use again.”

“Lucas and I want to thank Sheryl & Molly so much for helping out and capturing our special day. They were there before we were at the church and were already capturing pictures, staying late into the night. I really enjoyed the wedding questionnaire they had us fill out before our wedding to make sure every aspect was captured. Even bringing up some ideas that I hadn’t previously thought about.

I also want to thank them for getting all the pictures we wanted as the ceremony started later than we anticipated. They were very organized getting the family photos captured along with making the whole process seem easy. They adjusted easily to any pictures we came up with too.

I loved both Sheryl & Molly’s personalities; they seemed like they were another pair of guests we invited; like we had known them for years. I received numerous compliments on how people noticed the photographers but they blended in so well with everyone else. Sheryl & Molly were everywhere at our wedding!

I am so thankful that we were able to have you guys capture our wedding day!

And Sheryl, thank you also for taking our engagement photos. We love them and as you could see, we used ALL of them in our sign-in book. We have received multiple compliments on how our engagement photos look. I will be recommending you guys to everyone looking for a wedding photographer!”

“We are honestly speechless. We booked SB about a year and a half before our wedding because we fell in love with their photos. Our engagement photos were unbelievable. Adam asked if we would like a few further edited and to be honest, they didn’t need it! Our photos represented who we were as a couple, Adam nailed it. At our wedding we received nothing but COMPLIMENTS about how professional our photographers were. Additionally, I want to thank both Adam and Molly for making an additional stop at my grandfather’s house to take photos. He was unable to attend the wedding due to health reasons so being able to stop at his house meant the world to me. Those will be photos Ryan and I treasure for a lifetime. We both cannot thank you enough. Thank you for everything you do!!”

“We will be using this company in the future for any photos we need! We just got married on September 22, 2018 and we could not have asked for a better photography company to capture our day!! We had two photographers there all day with us and they were absolutely amazing! They captured everything we wanted and stayed way longer than we asked for. Stephanie and Molly were perfect and all of our guests found them so easy to talk to and interact with. My experience getting to know them before the wedding was amazing as well. I loved how much time they took to get to know my husband and I. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable with everything. I felt that they were more than willing to help with anything to do with our wedding!”

“We wanted to reach out and THANK YOU for our AMAZING wedding photos! You captured every moment of our day; when we were looking through these photos we were reliving every moment. You both have been such a blessing and we can’t thank you enough. You captured so many memorable moments from our wedding day and we were blown away when we saw the photos. Our family members and friends were also blown away and everyone couldn’t say enough positive words about you both. You made our wedding day smooth and incredibly stress free. Your communication during the day was phenomenal, you both had such great attitudes, and we are so honored that you could share our day with us. Matthew and I live in Michigan now and I can tell you without a doubt that when we have a need for professional photos, we will be scheduling a visit home and will be working with you ladies. We will be telling all of our family and friends to work with you because truthfully we feel that you are the best photographers in Wisconsin!”

-Nicole & Matt

“Omg thank you so much! We got the email when I was just about to start working out and I attempted to continue to work out but was so distracted I left so I could see all the pictures!! I absolutely love them, you guys did an amazing job, I couldn’t have imagined our day without you & Molly! Not only were your talents outstanding but how nice & personable you were made the day even better – you guys are truly amazing and I’m so happy to have met you both. I’m so happy we found you, as with any further life moments, we will most definitely be using you guys to capture the moments, as I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with those precious moments.

P.S.- we will be posting so many pictures on Facebook (as I obviously can’t narrow down my favorites since you guys did such an amazing job, they’re all amazing). Honestly, I can’t thank you all enough for everything & taking so many amazing pictures! I’ve already gone through them once, but let’s be honest, I’m going to go through them so many times! 😊”
